Prices and availability
Published prices are valid on the selected date and based on maximum occupancy. Availability is published in limited quantities ; accommodation may not be available due to the technicals problems. In case of unavailability of the accommodation the customer will be contacted by SKI PLANET as soon as possible. SKI PLANET will refund the amount paid by the customer.
Online rates are published for information, they can be subject to error or omission. In case of error or omission, the customer can, after having been informed :
- either cancel the booking. Only the amount paid to SKI PLANET will be refunded, excluding any other compensation;
- or accept the modification of the stay. The client accepts the changes and the price increase due to these modifications. The customer renounces to all claims due to these modifications.
Booking amount is given in Pound Sterling (£) just for information but is paid in Euro (€). Thus, there may be a variation due to the currency rate between published price and invoiced price and due to extra fees imposed by the customer's bank.
Our company reserves the right to modify our product prices, either by increasing or decreasing them, according to the variations in currency exchange rates: if the currency exchange rate was to fluctuate, prices would be modified accordingly. Currency exchange rate fluctuations are applicable to all our services. -
Reservation terms
A minimum deposit of 30% of the total amount of the stay guarantees the reservation conditions and commits the client to pay the balance 32 days before the start of the stay. In case of non-payment of the balance, the reservation may be canceled without the client being able to recover the initially paid amounts.
Any reservation made within 32 days before the arrival date does not entitle the client to split payment and must be paid in full by credit card.
A reservation can be put on hold for a maximum of 3 days, the time necessary for the total deposit payment to be received by bank check or valid and original holiday or gift vouchers (to be sent by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt in a secure envelope to the company SKI PLANET - 2 place Léontine Vibert - 73200 Albertville). SKI PLANET declines any responsibility for the delivery of holiday vouchers in case of loss or theft. After 3 days, the option will be automatically canceled, and the client will not be entitled to any claim, particularly due to any subsequent unavailability of the accommodation resulting from it.
Holiday vouchers and gift vouchers are valid as long as they are still valid for at least two months after receipt by SKI PLANET, in their original condition, not endorsed, and not stapled.
Any reservation incurs a handling fee of €20. These fees are non-refundable in case of client cancellation. According to Article L. 221-28 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply. These €15 fees are only refundable if SKI PLANET is forced to cancel the stay. -
Order confirmation
According to Article L. 221-28 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply.
Upon receipt of payment, the client receives an email to be kept carefully: it contains all the information relating to the rental.
The booking voucher must be presented in paper form at the residence reception on the day of arrival, as well as at the ski lift ticket offices for ski passes, at the sports shop for ski equipment, and any other service provider (e.g., groceries...). These documents must be printed before the day of arrival. No service will be provided to the client by the reception staff if the booking voucher is presented in a format other than paper, such as a smartphone. SKI PLANET declines any responsibility in case the client fails to collect the travel documents.
Note that SKI PLANET provides the client with a "Client Area" accessible from the homepage of the website, where they can find the exchange voucher required for their stay at any time, as well as other details specified in the "Online Booking Process on the Booking Site" section. -
Payment terms
During the reservation process, the client must provide their credit card number and expiration date. Accepted credit cards include: Carte Bleue, VISA, Mastercard, and American Express.
By doing so, the client authorizes SKI PLANET to use their payment card for the payment of the deposit and the balance of the stay. The client agrees not to oppose the transaction of the validated reservation under any circumstances.
SKI PLANET does not retain any credit card numbers. No automatic debits are made.
The client also has the option to pay their deposit by bank transfer or ANCV holiday vouchers (in case of ANCV holiday voucher refund, a fee of €15 will be retained) and/or gift vouchers (only Cadhoc vouchers, Kadéos Edenred Infini, Kadéos Edenred Select, Mon Cadeau Liberté Tirgroupé, Mon Cadeau Bonheur Tirgroupé - Kadéos Gift Vouchers, gift cards, and other vouchers not listed will be rejected and returned to the client) and/or bank cheque made payable to SKI PLANET. These cheques must be sent by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt in a secure envelope to the company SKI PLANET - 2 place Léontine Vibert - 73200 Albertville. SKI PLANET declines any responsibility for the delivery of cheques in case of loss or theft. The client is responsible for settling the remaining balance. The balance will be collected 32 days before arrival at the establishment.
It is understood that a reservation confirmed by the receipt of a bank cheque is subject to the resolutory condition of effective cheque cashing. In case of rejection of the cheque, the reservation will be automatically canceled. To the extent that this cancellation results from the fault of the client, if the bank notification of the cheque rejection occurs during the period in which cancellation fees are applicable, the client will be liable to SKI PLANET for the amount of these fees in addition to the reservation fees and insurance fees if the client has subscribed to this option and if the applicable withdrawal period has expired.
SKI PLANET's website also offers you the option to pay all or part of your purchases with illicado gift card(s). You can combine several illicado cards for the same purchase, up to a limit of €250. Operations with your illicado card are completely secure. Select the illicado payment method and enter the 19 digits of your gift card along with the 3-digit security code. The card can be used once or multiple times up to its value. Your payment can be supplemented if necessary with your credit card.
Important Information : If the client has made payment for their stay by credit card, bank cheque, or bank transfer, they cannot later request the use of gift vouchers to replace payments originally made by credit card, bank cheque, or bank transfer. If the client sends their cheques by mail for such a request without prior notice to SKI PLANET, SKI PLANET has the right to refuse this request and return the gift vouchers to the client by regular mail. SKI PLANET declines any responsibility for loss during this shipment. SKI PLANET can arrange for secure shipment at the request and expense of the client. -
Security Guarantees for credit card payment : Banque Populaire
Thanks to a secure server, customer transactions are completely reliable. For this, the most powerful encryption system on the market, SSL: Secure Socket Layer, is used. This encryption system is the most widely used on the internet to protect the transmission of information between a client and a server. It allows the transfer of banking details online, securely. Moreover, it is compatible with the latest versions of all browsers on the market.
A message will notify the client that they are about to view pages using a secure connection. This is evidence that the site is secure and that the client can enter their card number with confidence.
SKI PLANET reminds that no credit card numbers are retained. No automatic debits are made.
How to ensure the security of the transfer of the client's banking details?
The SSL software encrypts all banking details when entered. During their single transfer via the Internet, it is then impossible to read them. Upon receipt, SKI PLANET decrypts these numbers to process the client's order. The number remains perfectly confidential during the transfer on the Internet network. -
Modification conditions
The modification of the reservation (dates, number of persons, location of the stay, type of accommodation) at the client's request may be accepted, subject to the following conditions:
- Deadline : To be valid, the modification request must be sent by email to SKI PLANET at least 30 days before the initially selected arrival date for the accommodation reservation, beyond this deadline, the client must cancel their reservation and make a new reservation;
- Applicable handling fees : Any request for modification of reservation will result in SKI PLANET invoicing handling fees of €50, payment of which within the aforementioned modification period will be necessary for its validation.
These modification fees are non-refundable in case of subsequent cancellation of the replacement reservation.

SKI PLANET shall not be liable for any delay or breach of contract resulting from a force majeure event, namely an external event beyond the Parties, irresistible and unforeseeable. The performance of obligations incumbent upon SKI PLANET will be suspended by the occurrence of a force majeure event within the meaning of French court jurisprudence. In such circumstances, SKI PLANET will notify the Client, in writing, within eight (8) days from the date of occurrence of the events, with the obligations binding SKI PLANET and the Client being automatically suspended, without compensation, from the date of occurrence of the event.

SKI PLANET strongly advises the client to take out comprehensive insurance. -
Holiday insurance
The client must be covered by a valid holiday liability insurance policy during the stay, taken out with a solvent company of their choice.
SKI PLANET also advises subscribing to a cancellation/interruption guarantee.
SKI PLANET offers insurance taken out with a trusted insurer partner. This insurance is designed to provide broad protection during your trip, including cancellation or interruption of stay and holiday liability insurance. For more details on coverage, exclusions, and claims procedures : please refer to the summary of coverage.
If the client subscribes to this insurance, they will provide the travelers' details, which will be transmitted solely for the purpose of determining the scope of insurance to the insurer.
Membership in the travel insurance is done directly with SKI PLANET's insurance partner, who acts as an insurance intermediary on an ancillary basis under Article L513-1 of the Insurance Code. Information regarding the identity and address of SKI PLANET's insurance partner as well as the extent of the proposed coverage are available in the insurance product information document (DIPA) accessible before any membership and before validating the reservation.
The client has a 30-day right of withdrawal from the date of insurance subscription, during which they can cancel the insurance contract without penalty and without reason (unless the insurance is taken out less than 30 days before the start date of the stay, in which case the right of withdrawal does not apply).
The client exercises this right directly by email to SKI PLANET.
If the client wishes to make a complaint regarding this insurance, they must follow the procedures specified in their insurance policy and contact the insurer directly at the coordinates provided in the insurance documentation provided.
The client is encouraged to carefully read the general and specific terms and conditions of their insurance policy, which detail coverage, exclusions, and obligations. This information is essential for understanding their insurance protection. -
Rental and Occupancy Conditions
At the risk of reservation termination, the client is required to personally occupy the premises, as the reservation is nominative, non-transferable, and non-transmissible. Under no circumstances can the client sublet, even for free, or transfer their reservation rights without written consent from SKI PLANET.
The client agrees not to conduct any business, profession, or industry in the accommodation rented solely for temporary residence and pleasure.
The client must not make any modifications or changes to the arrangement of furniture and premises, nor transport furniture outside the accommodation, except for linen and small items.
Before the inventory check-out, occupants must return the furniture, objects, and furnishings to their original positions upon arrival. The tenant undertakes to return the accommodation in a perfectly clean condition, either by cleaning it themselves or having it cleaned as per the option offered under the conditions communicated during the reservation. Occupants must refrain from disposing of items in sinks, bathtubs, sinks, toilets, etc., that may obstruct the pipes, failing which they will be liable for the costs incurred for the restoration of these fixtures. The security deposit, which is deposited upon arrival, is refunded minus any damages observed, insufficient cleaning, or delayed return of keys.
The client and accompanying persons in the accommodation must strictly adhere to the internal regulations (and where applicable, the condominium regulations of the building, including rules on clothes drying, household waste, assigned parking, pool regulations, etc.) and refrain from any actions that may disturb the peace of the neighborhood or other occupants. Otherwise, in case of obvious disturbances caused to third parties, SKI PLANET reserves the right to seek compensation.
Occupants cannot claim reimbursement of their stay on a pro rata basis for the week in case of early departure for any reason (this matter may be addressed with their insurance, depending on the coverage subscribed).
Occupants must inhabit the rented premises respectfully and maintain quietness and the sleep of other residents.
SKI PLANET cannot be held responsible for any noise nuisance from the neighborhood, thefts, or damages. The client must report these to the relevant authorities.
If the vacationer does not arrive within the specified reception hours, the costs of any additional nights will be solely at their expense without entitlement to any refund.
Tourist regions are constantly evolving, and the environment may be affected. SKI PLANET cannot be systematically informed or held responsible for all works, constructions, events, and activities undertaken, either by individuals or public authorities, during the season, in resorts and residences. However, to the extent that SKI PLANET is informed of events or works causing significant disturbances in a residence or a resort, the tenant will be informed. The opening and closing of the residence may not coincide with the opening and closing of the resort or ski lifts.
The accommodations are equipped for tourist stays. The published photographs provide an illustration of the accommodations but are not contractual. The chosen rental may not exactly correspond to the illustrations. The same applies to the descriptions of accommodations (size, layout, etc.), which are provided by type, implying that for two accommodations of the same type, there may be some small differences that are not substantial. SKI PLANET strives to provide the most accurate descriptions possible for all accommodations offered. All descriptions, visuals, illustrations, and photographs published by the company SKI PLANET and on its websites are provided by hosting partners who authorize their full exploitation.
The client will allow repairs deemed urgent and necessary during the rental period to be carried out in the rented premises, without delay. The client will inform SKI PLANET of any incidents and damages occurring in the accommodation, even if no apparent damage results.
The client is required not to exceed the maximum occupancy capacity of the property corresponding to the number of people mentioned in the accommodation description, specified at the first stage of the booking process. The client will be solely responsible for any disputes arising on-site in case of occupancy exceeding the maximum capacity; any exceptions, including for babies, must be granted in writing by SKI PLANET. The client must be expressly authorized to bring an animal into the accommodation and, if applicable, have paid the additional fee for this purpose. In any case, only domestic animals will be admitted. However, no dog belonging to the 1st category mentioned in Article L.211-12 of the rural code can be accepted.
During the low season, the services offered may be fewer. The pool, jacuzzi, sauna, hammam, and restaurant will generally be open, but may have limited options and hours, or in case of bad weather, cleaning, maintenance, low attendance, reasons related to COVID-19, or any other incident beyond the control of SKI PLANET, these services may not be available. -
Security deposit
Mandatory security deposits may be required on-site, particularly for accommodation and ski equipment, as mentioned on the website under the "services" description. The client will directly engage with the relevant service providers and will be solely responsible for the proper use of the goods and services allocated to them under this guarantee.
-
Late arrival
Departure and arrival times are specified in the "exchange voucher" provided to the client in their customer area. If the tenant does not show up or arrives late, neither SKI PLANET nor the residence manager can be held responsible or liable for refunding any hotel accommodation costs. If the client cannot arrive at the specified times, they must contact the residence immediately to arrange a new arrival date and/or time. The same conditions apply for early departure.
-
Complaints
Within 48 hours of taking possession of their apartment, occupants must inform the reception or SKI PLANET in writing of any anomalies observed (e.g., incomplete inventory or cleaning issues). It is specified that otherwise, the accommodation will be considered as having been given clean and in working order upon the client's entry.
During the stay, any complaints should be made directly to the manager on-site to avoid inconvenience for the duration of the vacation. After the stay, a written complaint in French, English, or Spanish only (sent by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt) may be made within a maximum period of 15 days. No complaints will be accepted beyond this deadline. Any complaint not reported to the on-site site managers cannot be considered and will not entitle to any compensation.
You have the option to resort to the tourism and travel ombudsman : www.mtv.travel, for an amicable resolution of the dispute.
Since SKI PLANET does not own the accommodations, the information provided to tenants regarding accommodations and services complies with the indications of the accommodation providers. In case of any changes during the season, SKI PLANET will inform the tenants.
The opening and closing dates of ski lifts indicated on the SKI PLANET website are provided as indicative and may be subject to change depending on snow conditions. SKI PLANET cannot be held responsible, and the client cannot claim any compensation. -
Specific request
If the tenant has a specific request (e.g., ground floor apartment), SKI PLANET will communicate this to the accommodation provider at the time of booking. Requests are fulfilled to the extent possible but cannot be guaranteed: "if possible but not guaranteed."
Some establishments are equipped to accommodate people with reduced mobility. A prior request must be made to SKI PLANET for approval from the establishment. It is essential to mention the disability at the time of booking. Otherwise, SKI PLANET declines all responsibility, and no complaints will be considered upon the client's return if the facilities are not suitable for their needs. -
Promotional offer
The client cannot benefit from a promotional offer that occurs after their reservation, except for an additional accommodation. Promotions are not retroactive. Promotional offers on consecutive weeks cannot be combined with one-week special promotions. The 2=1 offer (one week purchased, one week free) is only valid for accommodation.
