Saint-Jean Montclar (at an altitude of 1350m) is a good size village situated in the heart of Alpes de Haute Provence, 2 hours from the Mediterranean coast between the north part of the Alps and Provence. It offers a hilly landscape and is known as Switzerland under the Provence sky. Saint-Jean Montclar, Alps is located at the foot of Dormillouse (at an altitude of 2500m) in a forest of road-leaved trees and coniferous giving it an authentic and harmonious atmosphere. Activities available include hiking, Bike Park, leisure centre, paragliding... many more offered for an enjoyable holiday!

How to get to Saint-Jean Montclar ?
BY ROAD
From Paris : via Lyon, Grenoble by the Col of "Bayard" or the Col of "Lus-La-Croix-Haute" in the direction of Veynes/Gap. After Gap, direction Barcelonnette per the road D900b, then take the road D900 in direction of the col "Saint-Jean".
From Marseille, by the motorway at the end of the A51 "La Saulce" take the road D900b in direction of Barcelonnette then direction of the Col "Saint-Jean" by the road D900.
Take the motorway A51 from Aix en Provence.
