Les Houches et Servoz proposent de nombreuses promenades, accessibles à tous, et des randonnées pour tous niveaux, sentiers balisés et entretenus. Cartes et guides des sentiers sur demande dans les Offices de Tourisme. Voici quelques exemples. Le Sentier Thématique de l'Espace Mont Blanc aux abords du Parc de Merlet : parcours facile pour tous en balcon pour comprendre quelques unes des astuces utilisées par certaines espèces animales pour s'adapter au rude environnement montagnard. Le Parc de Merlet : parc animalier sur 20 hectares représentant une promenade familiale d'une heure et demi environ. Le sentier botanique : dans le village. Promenade et parcours de santé autour du lac des Chavants. Vous pourrez en toute tranquilité vous familiariser avec quelques essences montagnardes, la faune et la flore. Environ 45 minutes de marche. La réserve naturelle de Carlaveyron : elle s'étend sur 600 hectares environ et comprend sur sa hauteur un cirque glaciaire, puis une vaste forêt et sur sa partie basse , les Gorges de la Diosaz.
